Note that the gold color on this can does not hold up to sunlight or weather, and this author has seen a handful of these cans where the gold has faded to silver color. In fact, one collector at 2004 canvention was convinced he had a silver variation until shown a very similar can which still had a small amount of the gold still visible along the seam. |
